Going deep
in the 4C process
The 4C process in Entando involves various roles and goals to facilitate application development and management.
The Creator focuses on designing, creating, and packaging such business capabilities, using the preferred technologies of the developer. Components can be developed independently and concurrently, to be shared and reused across projects and teams.
These components move onto the Curator and publish them to the Entando Hub, editing as needed and providing a quality gate for the reusable entity. They share information with composers and provide analysis and feedback to creators. There are three different types of the Entando Hub, the enterprise Hub which requires a curator, the Entando Cloud Hub which is a public catalog containing PBCs and components provided by Entando and its partners, and the Local Hub which is part of the App Builder UI.
With access to any or all of the Hubs, Composers assemble and update applications on the Entando App Builder, combining bundles, templates, widgets, PBCs, among others, to construct each page of an application.
Once complete, the consumer uses, monitors and analyzes the application to achieve business goals. They may need to manage and update users, content, rules, or even processes, providing feedback to composers and creators for continuous improvements in this iterative process.
